This year we have toyed with the idea of holding a Kids Quilt Camp... and it finally came down to either a yes or no. Do it or not do it. Well, at the last minute, we've decided to give it a go! There will be two locations for the KQC, Quilt Shop of Anderson (on Main Street Anderson) and Cheryl's studio in Greenville. Another difference between the two locations is that the Greenville location is offering the supply kit included with the class price. The Anderson class fees will be seperated for bookkeeping purposes. Here is the KQC Brochure Details: Learn to quilt with the Kids Quilt Camp with Quilter and machine embroiderer, Cheryl Childers. Join us on a QUILTING ADVENTURE this summer when we explore the outer limits of piecing, a quilters mission to find his mystery block and a walk through an enchanted quilt shop filled with notions and tools necessary to our art... Our quilt adventure camps meet Monday through Friday from 10 AM until 3 PM. During each camp we will experiment with cool piecing techniques, lessons in appliqué, fabric painting and quilting. All camps are $155 and include a snack, drink and the best part of our summer camps is our QUILT SHOW at the end of the week! Ages 10 and above (Adults welcome too!!). Beginners welcomed! Spaces limited so act quick! Kits are included and include all that is needed to complete the week’s quilt top. Additional supply list (if applicable) for individual sessions will be available upon paid registration. |
